Our take includes the three unmisable parts of this special dish:
Escudella is not just a soup. It’s a very rich broth which is cooked for hours so it has the flavours of all kinds of meats and vegetables.
Pilota/Pilotes are everybody’s favourite bit! Similar to meatballs, they are cooked in the escudella.
Galets are the traditional pasta shapes served with Escudella, specially on Christmas Day. They resemble small snails.
Frozen (except pasta).
Must be thawed and warmed/cooked.
